Chiron Silver is inspired by nature: It connects people with their landscape.  Its designer, Carol Powell, starts any piece of work by drawing and painting; through this, finding the essence of an organic form or landscape. Most of her collections are formed around an etched design.

These studies are the basis for collections of work that are subtle and understated.
The results of the etching process may change the original planned design for a piece of jewellery.

Ginkgo neck piece

Made form 925 Sterling silver, this unique neck piece is inspired by the Ginkgo trees in Manchester’s Stevenson Square: “I love the way Ginkgo leaves grow on the branch in clusters, I wanted to show the lines on the leaves as these are its growth marks.”
Representing a raindrop: A top faceted rainbow moonstone.

This is part of a collection called Stevenson Square Ginkgos.
